[8 Feb]What kind of people do you like working with? And what kind of people do you dislike working?

There are a lot of occasions or situations where we have to work along with other people. Some of these instances can be our school project, college assignment or daily domestic work. Office is another place where working along with a team is in a way compulsory. Different people come with different thoughts, ideas, strengths and skills. If this diversity helps to bring more efficient results it also brings collision of ideas, different temperament and clash of opinions.

To build a successful team to work together we need people who can gel together. I would like to work with a person who is professional, dedicated to work, encourages each other, optimistic and a risk taker. Since, it is definite that there will be a collision of thoughts and ideas, he/she should be approachable, negotiable, and adaptable. Among all, trust is the most important factor as this strengthens the bond. Apart from all fundamental skills, the person must be fun and enjoyable. Since I am quite an extrovert and like to take breaks to enjoy, laugh and have some fun in life, I think a person with a similar attitude towards life can be my best partner at work.

However, it will be difficult for me to deal with people who are stubborn and not ready to brainstorm or negotiate. A pessimistic person can bring down the morale of their working partner. A person with the attitude to grow alone by pulling others down can’t go for a long race and so they may not be able to add more value to the work. I may not be comfortable working with a person who is not honest with their work and lies at different occasions.

Thus, it is good to work with self-motivated professionals who are responsible, dedicated towards work and enjoy even after a heavy workload. It could be extremely difficult to work with an unprofessional, irresponsible, and pessimistic person.
